Carol Weymuller US Open 2003

The Carol Weymuller US Open 2003 took place from October 11-16 , 2003 in Brooklyn , New York City , United States . The women's squash tournament was part of the WSA World Tour 2003/04 and belonged to the WSA Gold 35 category . It acted as both the Carol Weymuller Open and the US Open . The prize money was $ 37,000.

Last year's winner was Carol Owens , who again reached the final and met Cassie Jackman there . Jackman won the game 9-5, 5-9, 4-9, 9-7 and 9-5.

The field of participants in the women's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were starting places for qualifiers. The best eight players were seeded. A wildcard was not awarded.
