The battle near Langenbruck was a battle of the German War in 1866.

On June 23, 1866, the Prussian 1st Army began its invasion of Bohemia . Opposite it was the Austrian 1st Light Cavalry Division. So far only small patrol skirmishes had occurred between these two-sided troops and a somewhat larger clash did not take place until June 24th near Langenbruck . On the day mentioned, three squadrons of Lichtenstein and the Radetzky Hussars regiment were posted at Langenbruck under Colonel Baron Appel. Around noon the Prussian 8th Division began to advance on Reichenberger Chaussee. The squadron of the 6th Uhlan Regiment , marching at the head of the 8th Division, attacked a semi-squadron of the Lichtenstein Hussars advanced to Münkendorf and threw them back to Langenbruck. The thrown half-squadron was picked up by two squadrons of Lichtenstein hussars, who in turn attacked the Uhlan squadron and threw it back onto their infantry. The Austrian hussars got caught in a violent small gunfire by the Prussian infantry, which caused them losses and had to retreat to Langenbruck.
