WWO (including the abbreviation of W witrynach odbicia = " What is mirrored in the shop window") is a Polish hip-hop group from Warsaw .

Band history

The story began in 1996 when the two rappers Jędker and Sokół (born March 11, 1977 in Warsaw , Poland , bourgeois Wojciech Sosnowski ) brought their first recorded songs to the people. The songs were transferred to cassettes and then distributed to friends, so that the tracks in their area were quickly known within a very short time. When Koro and Fu joined them, the ZIP Sklad formation really started. As the opening act for Run DMC , they became known to a wider audience in 1997/98.

The first officially released records on which ZIP Skład could be heard (at times with a line-up of ten MCs) were the producer Kolabo albums by the unofficial "godfather of polish hip hop" DJ 600 Volt. It was also he who produced most of her first album (1999) "Chleb powszedni".

WWO was founded in 2000 and was a ZIP Skład project. After the release of their first WWO album, there was a dispute with their label BMG Poland, so they had to change their name. From then on "W Witrynach odbicia" was called "W Wyjątkowych Okolicznościach". The "new" crew parted ways with their label in a dispute and took the organizational matters into their own hands. They founded the Prosto label .
