Guard Battalion

As a guard battalion are or were known:

• the guard battalion at the Federal Ministry of Defense , Germany, set up in 1957
• the later guard regiment "Feliks Dzierzynski" , which was initially set up as Guard Battalion A in 1951 and converted into a regiment in 1954, at the GDR Ministry for State Security, dissolved in 1990
