The election on St. Helena 2017 was the election to the unicameral legislature , the Legislative Council ( German Legislative Council ), on the island of St. Helena , an equal part of the British overseas territory of St. Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha . 12 MPs were determined by election. Each eligible voter was entitled to up to 12 votes.
The election took place on July 26, 2017. 17 people stood for election.
