Wai (Egyptian mythology)

Wai ("the far away") is one of the Shebtiu creator gods of ancient Egypt . Within the creation myths , he made the first reeds together with Aa and won the first land as soon as it emerged from the primeval water .

Wai and Aa are mentioned together in inscriptions in the Temple of Horus at Edfu .
