Wakobato is an interactive water ride from the manufacturer Preston & Barbieri in the Fantasy area of the Phantasialand in Brühl, which was opened in July 2009. Similar to the manufacturer's Splash Battle , passengers can shoot water pistols with rotary cranks at targets and trigger water fountains. However, the boats do not drive on rails, but swim in a water channel embedded in the lake. It is also not possible for passengers to wet each other. Eight people can take a seat in the 12 boats in two rows facing outwards. For the attraction of the former was Märchensee match the fantasy - theme that with Wuze Town was introduced to Mondsee redesigned.
In July 2010, the Cologne Administrative Court revoked the building permit retrospectively following a lawsuit brought by a resident due to the noise from the ride . After submitting a new building permit, the operation of the attraction has only been approved on working days from October 2011 until the final clarification, the entire area remains closed on Sundays and public holidays.
