Wakobato is an interactive water ride from the manufacturer Preston & Barbieri in the Fantasy area of the Phantasialand in Brühl, which was opened in July 2009. Similar to the manufacturer's Splash Battle , passengers can shoot water pistols with rotary cranks at targets and trigger water fountains. However, the boats do not drive on rails, but swim in a water channel embedded in the lake. It is also not possible for passengers to wet each other. Eight people can take a seat in the 12 boats in two rows facing outwards. In July 2010, the Cologne Administrative Court revoked the building permit retrospectively following a lawsuit brought by a resident due to the noise from the ride .
