The Waldecker cable car is a 1961 by the Cologne-based company Pohlig AG built small cable car in Waldeck am Edersee in northern Hesse .

The gondola lift is 650 meters long and overcomes a height difference of 120 meters in its course. The mountain station is on the Schlossberg between Waldeck Castle and the town of Waldeck. The valley station is located at the western foot of the Schlossberg on Landesstraße 3256 at the junction of the street name Abelauf / Seestraße, almost 300 m from the Ederseeufer.

The rope has a diameter of 24 millimeters. The mountain railway has six supports and 28 two-person cabins, and there are also special gondolas for transporting bicycles. The transport capacity is 720 people per hour.
