Walter Wendt
Walter Wendt (born July 3, 1907 ; † unknown) was a German SA storm leader and head of personnel at Erla Maschinenwerke .
After his arrest, Wendt was charged with 30 other accused as part of the Dachau trials in the main Buchenwald trial. On August 14, 1947, Wendt was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment for "helping and participating in the operations of the Buchenwald concentration camp". The sentence was later commuted to a five-year prison term. Nothing is known about his further life.
