Walther Graetsch

Walther Graetsch (born April 17, 1953 in Sandhorst / Aurich) is a German politician ( FDP ).

Life

Graetsch attended school in Aurich and graduated from high school in 1971. He studied German, political science, sociology, and cultural and media studies in Berlin, Bremen and Münster. In 1977 he passed his state examination for high school teaching. He began working as a concert organizer and between 1979 and 1984 was cultural advisor for the East Frisian landscape in Aurich . In 1983 he started his own business with two retail specialty stores.

Political party

Graetsch has been a member of the FDP since 1978. He was chairman of the Ems-Jade district association and a member of the Lower Saxony FDP state executive committee. He is also a member of the board of directors of the Rudolf von Bennigsen Foundation.

Public offices

Graetsch became a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament for the tenth and eleventh electoral periods from January 18, 1984 to June 20, 1990. Between June 22, 1986 and June 20, 1990, he was deputy chairman of the FDP parliamentary group.
