Wang Zhi
Wang Zhi (Chinese: 王 娡) ( 173 - 126 BC ) was empress at the time of Emperor Han Jingdi of the Han Dynasty .
Wang Zhi was called to the imperial court by Emperor Jingdi. In 156 BC She gave birth to her tenth son, who was named Liu Che and named Prince Jiaodong . In 150 BC BC, the Emperor Jingdi ordered Che Liu to be established as Hereditary Prince and the original Hereditary Prince Rong Liu to be demoted to Prince Linjiang, so Wang Zhi rose from concubine to Empress. After the death of Jingdi in 141 BC Their son Che Liu became Emperor Han Wudi . After her own death in 126 BC She was venerated as Empress Xiaojing and buried with her husband Emperor Jingdi.
