Wangchug Gyeltshen

Wangchug Gyeltshen ( Tib . : dbang phyug rgyal mtshan; Chinese  旺 出 儿 监 藏 ) (life dates unknown) is said to be based on the section of the biographies of famous Buddhists and Daoists ( Shi-Lao zhuan ) in the history of the Yuan Dynasty ( Yuanshi ) from 1323 to In 1325 he was the imperial teacher ( dishi / ti shri ) of the Mongol emperor Taiding ( Yesun Timur Khan ), about which nothing can be found in the Tibetan historical records. He was probably the representative of the eighth Imperial Teacher Künga Lodrö Gyeltshen Pel Sangpo during his absence from the capital Dadu ( Beijing ). He was the ninth person to serve as the central government's highest monk official for Buddhist affairs.
