The sidewall table is the table furniture associated, especially in the Italian Renaissance popular furniture type .
This special form of the table is characterized by a base that is composed of two vertical supports arranged in the shape of a cheek on the narrow sides of the table top. On the bottom side, the cheeks are connected to one another by a web running parallel to the table top.
