Warm insert

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Warm inserts are the winterproof features of thermal clothing made from relatively light outer fabrics .

The heat retention and temperature equalization is done by light, but voluminous nonwovens with a thickness of at least three millimeters. Sometimes they are multifunctionally combined with moisture barrier membranes . The hot deposits can be used as indoor stepper are firmly sewn to the garment or as a hanging fabric hung loosely be sewn.

It is important that the fibers forming the insert hold together well so that they do not become detached from one another during use and penetrate the outer fabric after a few washes or cleanings. This applies to all types of production, regardless of whether they are woven , rustled or non- woven .
