The Warne 8 HP (alternative spelling: Warne 8 hp ) was the only car model made by the British car manufacturer Pearsall Warne . Production ran from 1913 to 1915. In mid-1913, six cars were made a week.

description

The vehicle was a four-wheeled cycle car . The car was powered by a V2 engine from JAP with a capacity of 964 cm³ , which made 8 bhp (5.9 kW). From 1915 an engine with a capacity of 1070 cm³ was used. The engines were air-cooled, but a dummy radiator gave the cars a more conventional look. The engine power was transmitted to the rear wheels via belts.

The car had a light, two-seater structure with complete weather protection. With a wheelbase from 1981 to 2134 mm, the length was 2896 mm and the width 1270 mm. The curb weight was given as 305 to 356 kg. All wheels were suspended from semi-elliptical leaf springs.

The original price was £ 99.

A vehicle still exists today. It was exhibited in the Stainz Automobile Museum in Stainz .
