The Warrior tracked vehicles are a series of British armored personnel carriers developed in the 1970s by Guest, Keen and Nettlefolds (later part of the armaments company Alvis Vickers Ltd. ) to replace the British Army's older FV 432 . Production began around 1980. The Warrior had its first combat missions in 1991 during Operation Granby in the Second Gulf War . He was later used in British UNPROFOR missions in Bosnia and during the Iraq war . The armor resists detonations from 155 mm shells at a distance of 10 meters and direct fire with up to 14.5 mm projectiles.
The vehicle has an on-board toilet.
