Washoe language

Washoe (also Washo ) is an Native American language spoken by the Washoe , a people in Nevada and California . Because very few people speak Washoe, there is a school where the language is taught.

The Washoe call their language Wagayay themselves .

Although Washoe is commonly included in the Hoka language family , there is little evidence to support this association. Linguists consider Washoe to be an isolated language .
