The Buntwolfstraße water pump is located in Eschweiler above Feld , a district of the Nörvenich municipality in the Düren district , North Rhine-Westphalia on the corner of Buntwolfstraße and Am Ringsheimer Hof.
The cast iron water pump , a reciprocating piston pump , dates from the 19th century. The pouring tube is shaped like a lion's head with a fluted shaft.
Until the water pipeline network was laid, the drinking water had to be fetched from the residents. Today the pump no longer works and is only used as a memento of the past.
