Rüthen water tower

The Rüthener water tower is a water tower in the Westphalian city of Rüthen . It was built in 1909 at the highest point of the old town, on the edge of the southern city wall at a height of 386  m above sea level. NHN brick masonry and Rüthener sandstone built and is under monument protection . The tower is a total of 35.9 m high and has a viewing gallery at a height of 30 m under the cupola-shaped spire covered with copper sheet. The water tank, which is still used today for the water supply, has a capacity of 150 m³.
