Attractions
The common construction of a chedi and a viharn , which seem to merge into one another, is very rare . The Chedi is held in the Mon style and has a golden umbrella attachment, while the Viharn with its elegant decorations is made in the Lan Na design. On the outer wall of the chedi there are guard figures painted green.
The Viharn houses the Phra Phuttha Mon or Luang Pho Phutthamon , a dark bronze Buddha statue in Sukhothai style from the 13th century . This statue is highly venerated by the local population. On the inner walls of the viharn are covered with murals.
