Nakatsugawa ( Japanese 中 津 川 市 , -shi ) is a city in the Japanese prefecture of Gifu .
history
Nakatsugawa was a post office ( 宿 場 町 Shukuba-machi ) of the Nakasendō during the Edo period . The city of Nakatsugawa was founded on April 1, 1952 .
