history

Waterlogic was founded in the UK in 1992 by current CEO Jeremy Ben David. The IPO was completed in 2011 . In 2015, Waterlogic was acquired by Castic Capital. The acquisition took place via the company Poseidon Bidco , which was newly founded by the EPIC fund managed by Castik .

Waterlogic manufactures water coolers and sparklers - devices that are connected to the existing drinking water line. These can donate cold, warm, still, and carbonated water. Some devices also contain an activated carbon filter , a UV lamp and plastic surfaces with an admixture of silver ions in order to inhibit the growth of germs and microbes.

Waterlogic produces in a Chinese factory in Qingdao with around 200 employees.

Distribution in Germany

In Germany, Waterlogic GmbH, founded in 2001 in Bietigheim-Bissingen, is a sales partner and sponsor of the table tennis club Borussia Düsseldorf .
