Web Language

The Web Language of Hewlett-Packard (originally WebL called and because of a trademark issue renamed) is a scripting language for analysis and automation problems in the World Wide Web . The programming language is imperative , is interpreted by the Java VM and is implemented in Java . It offers support for the most important web protocols such as HTTP and FTP and understands the well-known data formats HTML and XML .
