Webocton-Scriptly is a Freeware - HTML editor for Windows - operating systems , which on writing HTML and PHP - Source Code is designed. This is offered in two versions. On the one hand in the standard version, and on the other hand in the compact version , which can be used on the USB stick (data are saved in the program directory).
Functions
Webocton-Scriptly supports syntax highlighting for HTML , PHP , CSS , JavaScript , Smarty , SQL , XML and INI . However, some new CSS3 components are not supported and therefore not displayed correctly in the editor. Multi-line snippets and assignable shortcuts can be inserted and edited. Hyperlinks , hexadecimal color definition , time, MD5 as well as complete HTML tables and comments can be inserted with a click.
The program has a file browser with FTP clients . The project management has an include system and other features. The search and replace function also works for several files with a listing of the complete results. The PHP function list and the HTML tag list for quick code insertion also work via drag and drop . The display of parameters is offered for PHP functions. The extensive code completion shows tags , parameters, PHP variables, functions and CSS commands.
Webocton-Scriptly also has an HTML tag inspector, a code browser, a MySQL wizard, a hex viewer and an image viewer. The program offers window splitting and print preview. If desired, it offers automatic replacement of umlauts, etc. during input. The range of functions can be expanded using plug-ins . Scriptly can be installed and operated on Linux computers with Wine .
