The Crossroads in Dellbrücker main street is a 1762-built small monument in the Cologne district Dellbrück .

The three meter high cross was made of trachyte and is divided into three sections. The lower part consists of a round base on which an inscription is placed, the middle part is a shell-shaped exposure niche , the upper part forms the cross.

According to the inscription, the cross was donated by his parents Wilhelm Lüdgen and Margarete Steinacker in memory of the thirty-five year old bachelor Jacobus Lüdgen. Jacobus Lüdgen is said to have been shot dead by French marauders at the end of the Seven Years' War after pointing them the wrong way. The full text of the inscription reads:

"A 1762 d. 11 7lris was shot here up to the hand of the virtuous youngster jacobus lüdgen under the pronouncement of jesses maria joseph in the 35+ year of his age after he had received the hh sacrament of the altar two days before RIP wilhelm lüdgen and margaretha steinacker have set up this creux for the gestation of their eynzig dearest son let the whole family create what he desires to worry about until death in prayer before him "

The wayside cross was placed under monument protection on July 1, 1980 .
