Franz Schiele
Franz Schiele (born December 22, 1884 in Überlingen , † January 16, 1963 ) was a German entrepreneur. He was the founder of Schiele Industriewerke KG in Hornberg .
Career
Schiele came as the son of the landlords Karl and Anna Schiele, nee Purer to the world. He attended elementary and middle school in Überlingen and then completed a banking apprenticeship at the Black Forest Bank Association in Furtwangen. In the following ten years he worked in various positions in the Black Forest and at the Disconto-Gesellschaft in Berlin. In 1911 he returned to the Black Forest, where he worked as an authorized signatory.
In 1912 he started his own business in Hornberg , in which he accepted Eugen Bruchsaler as an equal partner in 1914 . The company specialized in the manufacture of electrotechnical switchgear, the implementation of drives for speech machines, bicycle lighting and the manufacture of the hydraulic automobile jack RAK .
After the end of the Second World War he was President of the Central Baden Chamber of Commerce and Industry .
