The White Lake is a lake about 800 meters northeast of the Pritzerber See in the city of Havelsee . It was created in the course of the mining of rich clay deposits that were processed in a nearby brick factory. The White Lake has no inflow and is fed by groundwater. The lake is drained via an artificially created drain in a southerly direction, which drains into the Rote Graben and over it into the Pritzerber See and the Havel . It covers an area of around 5 hectares and extends 365 meters from north to south and has a maximum width of 245 meters. Today, the White Lake is primarily used as fishing and bathing water and for local recreation. The lake lies in a row of gullies of Ice Age origin, which extends northeast of the Pritzerbe – Fohrde line and in which the Pritzerber See and other smaller anthropogenic former clay pit lakes are also located. The White Lake is designated as a weakly eutrophic stagnant body of water.
