Lists on the subject

The Weihrauch HW 37 is a blank firing revolver from Weihrauch & Weihrauch .

description

The incense HW 37 was the Revolver Arminius HW 22 modeled on the Hermann incense revolver GmbH.

construction

The Weihrauch HW 37 blank firing revolver (PTB number 547, 779 and 887) is a drum revolver with a drum that can be swung out to the side and a short barrel. The dimensions of the frame correspond to the J-frame from Smith & Wesson , which makes it possible to use grips and holsters from these models. The handle of the HW 37 is made of die-cast zinc . Almost all important functional parts of the HW 37 are made of steel, including the drum, the trigger, the hammer, the firing pin, the ejector and the swivel arm.

The HW 37 has a very smooth double-action trigger, the cock can optionally be preloaded for single-action . A fall protection prevents the hammer from hitting the firing pin if the weapon falls. Compared to other blank firing revolvers, the HW 37 has a very small drum gap .

The two different versions burnished and stainless look are each available with either plastic or real wood handle scales. Like the prototype HW 22, the HW 37 has the Arminius logo under the slide for unlocking the drum. The HW 37 is delivered with a launching cup for 15 mm signal ammunition and an insert to protect the thread (M10 × 1.5) in the barrel.

variants

The HW 37S model (PTB numbers 785 and 907) is designed as a starting turret for sporting events and is only available in the burnished version. The only difference between the HW 37S and the HW 37 is that the barrel is closed at the front. Due to its construction, the HW 37S is not approved for the use of irritant ammunition, and signal ammunition cannot be fired with the HW 37S either.
