The Weisenauer Ruderverein 1913 e. V. (WRV) is a water sports club from Mainz-Weisenau . In him are rowing , the Canoeing and women gymnastics operated.

On July 15, 1913, the Weisenauer Ruderverein 1913 e. V. founded by Adam Anstatt . On October 5, 1913, he was accepted into the South German Rowing Association . The first club booth from 1930 later had to give way to the construction of the Weisenauer Bridge, it was replaced by the second club house between 1960 and 1963. On April 22nd, 1966 the Weisenauer Paddel-Club 1923 e. V. in the Weisenau rowing club in 1913.
The association runs a member magazine with the title "WRV-Echo".
Sporting successes
Björn Steinfurth , a club member in the manner Auer Rowing Club in 1913, was in Eton at the 2006 World Rowing Championships runner-up world champion lightweight - aft of the men.
