Continued franking

Weiterfranko (also Weiterfranco ) is a term from the field of postal systems before the Universal Postal Union (1875).

Continued franking refers to the portion of the paid postage that is due to a foreign postal service. This can be a transit fee or the fee in the recipient country that has already been paid by the sender.
