Weixiao Shen (born May 1975 in Guichi, Anhui Province ) is a Chinese mathematician who studies dynamic systems.

Shen graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China in Anhui in 1995 and received his doctorate from Mitsuhiro Shishikura at the University of Tokyo in 2001 (On the metric property of multimodal interval maps and density of axiom A), where he has studied since 1996 . He is a professor at the National University of Singapore .

He solved part of the eleventh Smale problem (see Sebastian van Strien ) with Oleg Kozlovski and Sebastian van Strien.

In 2014 he was invited speaker at the International Congress of Mathematicians in Seoul (Recent developments in interval dynamics, with Sebastian van Strien ).
