World Heritage Bavaria
The aim of the World Pleasure Heritage Bavaria project is to promote the sale of origin-protected Bavarian specialties outside of the Bavarian state borders.
Term and Financing
The information campaign on the world heritage of Bavaria runs until 2017. The budget is around 1.5 million euros and has been 50% funded by the EU Commission since July 2010 as the only national sales promotion program.

The focus of the WeltGenussErbe Bayern campaign is on the EU symbols of origin "Protected Geographical Indication" ( PGI ) and "Protected Designation of Origin" ( PDO )
