Less rent

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Wenigermiete.de is an online platform established by Conny GmbH at the end of 2016 to enforce tenant rights. According to Stiftung Warentest, the company is one of the biggest enforcers of the rental price brake and has raised numerous legal questions about the scope of the competencies of legal tech companies in the field of consumer protection. In November 2019, the Federal Court of Justice ruled that an online company may enforce legal claims from tenants with a collection license on a contingency fee basis. The procedure was an example of the question of whether modern digital forms of law enforcement could establish themselves alongside conventional law firms.
