Weoley Castle is the ruins of a fortified manor house in the district Weoley Castle in Birmingham in the English Management Unit West Midlands . The house is owned by the City of Birmingham and is managed as a city museum by the Birmingham Museums Trust . English Heritage has listed it as a Grade II Historic Building and is a Scheduled Monument .

The archaeological evidence points to a Norman foundation of the site, which was surrounded by a moat and rampart with a wooden palisade on top.

In 2015, Weoley Castle was the least visited tourist attraction in England with only 5205 visitors.
