Advertising community

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

An advertising community is a voluntary association of advertisers, mostly local businesses and businesses. It is a community of convenience, usually in the legal form of a society under civil law (this can also be founded orally) or a registered association . Its aim is to increase the sales of those involved through joint promotions , events or marketing measures.

Advertising associations also call themselves trade and trade associations , interest groups, business and tourism associations, tourism and trade associations or merchants' guilds . Often the name contains the sphere of activity of the advertising association (examples: interest group Musterdorf, Kaufmannsgilde Oberfranken ).

The members of an advertising association often work together in advertising in order to advertise the sphere of activity (not or less for the individual company). Examples are the advertising community of a shopping street, a pedestrian zone , a shopping center or a city or district .

Advertising associations are often found in rural areas with small towns (" sub-centers "). They can also be an information forum or social stage for entrepreneurs.
