Verkhny Oseredok is one of the largest islands in the Caspian Sea . It is located south of the village of Tishkovo in the Volga Delta .
Verkhny Oseredok is separated from the mainland by a narrow canal that is only 300 meters wide at its narrowest point. The island is almost 22 kilometers long and a maximum of 11 kilometers wide.
