Werner Buchberger

Werner Buchberger (* around 1950 in Nuremberg ) is a German science journalist, particularly in the field of medicine.

Career

In 1975 Buchberger began working as a freelancer in the youth radio of the Bavarian Radio .

From 1990 he worked as an editor in the family radio, where he developed the new transmission format among others Ortstermin developed. From the mid-1990s to 2016, he took on editorial responsibility for a monthly health program for Bavarian Radio and expanded the broadcaster's health offers.

From 2001 to 2016, together with the internist Marianne Koch , he designed the Bayern 2 Radio health talk at Bayerischer Rundfunk. Buchberger was also responsible for the 30-minute Sunday program B5-Gesundheit and the two-hour Monday program Das Notebook on the subject of health.

He was a lecturer at the German School of Journalism.
