Werner Lamade

Werner Lamade is a former German national basketball player . He was German champion six times with Heidelberg.

career

In 1957 he won the first German championship title in the club's history with USC Heidelberg . This was also the starting point of a series of championships: Lamade was German champions with the Electorate of Palatinate until 1962, a total of six times in a row. Lamade has always been a top performer at USC. He also played with the team in European Cup.

In November 1962 he left Heidelberg and moved to Berlin because of his job and from then on played for the team of Sportfreunde Neukölln . In spring 1963 he became German runner-up with the Berliners.

National team

In 1957, Lamade took part in qualifying matches for the European Championship with the German national team.
