Werner Schenk
Werner Schenk (born October 23, 1934 in Güntersberg ) is a former German gymnast and gymnastics trainer.
Life
After his active gymnastics career, which he had to end in the 1950s due to injury, Schenk completed a training course at the German University of Physical Culture (DHfK) in Leipzig.
Schenk also worked for many years as a trainer for the GDR national gymnastics team .
His protégés included u. a. Jörg Behrend .
