Werner Waldschmidt
Werner Waldschmidt (born June 28, 1929 ) is a former German soccer player .
The attacker came from FV 09 Nürtingen to SSV Reutlingen 05 . In the 1954/55 season Werner Waldschmidt was runner-up with the SSV in the Oberliga Süd . As a result, Waldschmidt and his team took part in the qualifying round for the final round of the 1955 German championship . On May 4, 1955 Werner Waldschmidt was in the first qualifying round against SV Sodingen over the full game distance for SSV Reutlingen and lost 3-0 with his Reutlingen team. When SSV Reutlingen missed the leap into the group stage of the last eight teams in the fight for the German championship four days later due to a 2-1 defeat in the second qualifying round against Wormatia Worms , Waldschmidt was not used.
