The west tower is a tower belonging to Islay House . It is located west of the Scottish town of Bridgend on the Hebridean island of Islay , about 1.2 km west of Islay House. On July 20, 1971, the building was added to the Scottish List of Monuments in Category B.

The west tower is located about 100 m north of the Loch Indaal bay, slightly off the A847. It was built in either the late 18th or early 19th centuries. The structure was built from quarry stone on a rectangular area of ​​4.2 × 3.4 m² and rises to a height of 5.2 m. The entrance is in the north wall. The east and west walls are provided with blind arches , above which round windows are let in; the south wall is provided with blind slots. The tower ends with a crenellated platform.
