Weather legs , also known as water legs, are profile elements made of the respective frame material that are attached longitudinally to the lower structural edge of window sashes and doors and point downwards at an angle, which are formed into a drip edge on the outside . They should let the rainwater run off so that it cannot penetrate the joint between the window frame and sash.
