Volker Muthmann (* 1977 in Hagen ) is a German actor .

Life

Volker Muthmann graduated from the Bochum drama school , which he graduated with a diploma in 2003. Since then he has appeared on numerous German theaters, such as the Staatstheater Darmstadt , the Schauspielhaus Bochum , the Wuppertaler Bühnen or the Theater Bonn from 2004 to 2007 . From 2011 to 2014 Muthmann was engaged at the Theater Heidelberg , since 2014 he has been playing at the Stadttheater Bremerhaven .

Some of Muthmann's roles were in Wuppertal Karl Moor in Friedrich Schiller's Die Räuber , in Darmstadt the title role in Prince Friedrich von Homburg by Heinrich von Kleist , in Bonn Edmund Tyrone in Eugene O'Neill's drama One Long Day Journey into the Night and the Marquis by Posa in Schiller's Don Karlos . In Heidelberg Muthmann was seen in the male title role of Georg Büchner's comedy Leonce and Lena , in Bremerhaven he embodied the title character in Nathan der Weise by Gotthold Ephraim Lessing and the cook in Bert Brecht's mother Courage and her children .

Since the mid-2000s, Volker Muthmann has also been working regularly in front of the camera. He had his first roles in the series The Campers and Friends Forever - Life is Round . As a guest, he was seen in Murder with a View , The Last Cop, or Betty's Diagnosis .

Volker Muthmann lives in Göttingen.
