White Noise is an experimental electronic music band founded in 1968 in London by David Vorhaus, Delia Derbyshire and Brian Hodgson.

To Electric Storm
The band's first album was An Electric Storm in 1969 on Island Records . The album was produced using a variety of tape manipulation techniques and early use of the UK's first synthesizer, EMS VCS 3 . Among other peculiarities, the first track of the album was played at increased speed in order to give Vorhaus's bass playing a violin and cello-like sound.
Although Iceland did not initially enjoy commercial success, the band became an insider tip over the years and sold many albums over the years.
A short section of the album is used as the soundtrack to the film Dracula Chases Mini Girls .
White Noise II-III
After Derbyshire and Hodgson left the band, Vorhaus released another, mainly instrumental album, White Noise II - Concerto for Synthesizer, on Virgin Records in 1974 .
The album White Noise III - Re-Entry contained only one track, Space Fantasy , and was released on Pulse Records in 1980. Vorhaus received support from the drummer Dino Ferrari .
White Noise IV-V
Two other albums, White Noise IV - Inferno and White Noise V - Sound Mind were released in 1990 and 2000 by AMP Music.
