Widimmu
Widimmu (also Edimmu ) is in the Atraḫasis epic the name of the first man born by Nintu with the help of Enlil . The words Widimmu / Edimmu are neither Sumerian nor Akkadian in origin. Borrowing from a pre-Iranian language is conceivable.
Widimmu initially lived alone on earth. In the further course of the division, man and woman arise from Widimmu:
“In the gardens and in the streets, the wife and husband rode together. The wombs are gathered, Nintu is sitting, counting the months ... The tenth month came when ... she opened the womb ... I created, my hands did it, the midwife may rejoice in the consecrated. "
