Texts from the environment of the Old Testament

Texts from the Environment of the Old Testament (abbreviation TUAT ) is a series published by Otto Kaiser , Bernd Janowski , Gernot Wilhelm and Daniel Schwemer, which makes important texts of the ancient oriental cultures - partly for the first time - accessible in German translation. These texts are re-translated from the original text by experts and researchers of the respective cultures and languages, arranged in their historical context and commented on in detail.
