Ursula Kaplony-Heckel
Ursula Kaplony-Heckel (* 1924 ) is a German Egyptologist .
Life
After completing her doctorate in Munich in 1951 , she completed a demotic study with Wolja Erichsen in Mainz and Copenhagen from 1951 to 1953 . In 1957 she received a DFG scholarship. After her habilitation in 1970 at the LMU Munich , she taught from 1975 to 1989 as a professor of Egyptology at the Philipps University of Marburg . She has two children and six grandchildren.
