Andrea Jördens (born June 27, 1958 in Hildesheim ) is a German papyrologist and ancient historian .

Career

Andrea Jördens studied Classical Philology , History and Medieval Latin from 1977 to 1984 at the University of Göttingen , the University of Florence and the University of Heidelberg , where she began studying papyrology at the Istituto Papirologico "Girolamo Vitelli" in Florence with Manfredo Manfredi (1925-2011) continued with Dieter Hagedorn .
