The Wiebach pre-lock

The Wiebach pre-barrier is a pre-barrier of the Wuppertalsperre , three kilometers north of Hückeswagen , in the North Rhine-Westphalian Oberbergische Kreis in Germany .

In 1984 the Wupperverband began building the 0.126 million m³ Wiebach pre-dam. Your target is at 253.6  m above sea level. NHN and the catchment area at 7 km². This pre-barrier is a rock embankment dam with an asphalt concrete inner seal. The dam height is 14 meters. The flood relief takes place with a tower.

There are various marked hiking trails along the Wiebach-Vorsperre.
