The bz-Wiener Bezirkszeitung , " bz" for short , is a free weekly newspaper in Vienna. The bz is divided into 23 district editions, which appear in the structure of the Viennese municipal districts in Viennese households.

history

The bz-Wiener Bezirkszeitung was founded in 1983 and was run by Mader-Verlag until 2006. In the spring of 2006, the bz-Wiener Bezirkszeitung was taken over by Österreichische Post AG. Since 2009, the bz-Wiener Bezirkszeitung has been under the umbrella of Regionalmedien Austria AG, which was founded as a 50/50 joint venture by Styria Media Group AG and Moser Holding AG.

management

Maximilian Schulyok has been the managing director of bz since February 2014. Before entering the media business, he worked in political management and as a press spokesman. In 2012, Maximilian Schulyok came to the Burgenland district sheets, where he was in charge of the regional key account. In the bz he follows Romana Stelzl and will assume overall responsibility for the company together with the authorized signatories Alexandra Laubner and Sandra Ritzberger.
